For example, you can confirm that Google can access your pages ("Fetch as Google"), notify Google of a domain change ("Change of Address"), and issue urgent blocks on content you need to take off your site ("Remove URLs").

Even if you submit URL to Google, their AI not only needs to classify and register the data on your website, it also has to evaluate whether your content is good, and relevant for competitive keywords or just an unintelligible spam fest that got pumped with tons of backlinks. This means it’s possible your website was crawled, but the link indexing process is still underway.
@Ωmega - Yeah, the subdomain thing with that tool is frustrating in some ways, but I can understand why they did it. In that case, I'm pretty sure there's no way that is both easy and gets the links recrawled quickly. That leaves you with: quick(ish) recrawl = use google.com/addurl and answer all the captchas, or easy = just wait until Google recrawls of it's own volition. Depending on how often the content on all your links are regularly updated, it might be that long if you just wait, though that's obviously not an ideal solution. Sorry I can't be more help. – kevinmicke May 30 '14 at 17:11
There are a couple of possible reasons why Google is slow when spidering your site. The first might seem obvious: if Google doesn’t find enough (quality) links pointing to your site, it doesn’t think your site is very important. The other reasons are technical: Google has too much to crawl on your site, your site is too slow, or it’s encountering too many errors.
The web is like an ever-growing library with billions of books and no central filing system. We use software known as web crawlers to discover publicly available webpages. Crawlers look at webpages and follow links on those pages, much like you would if you were browsing content on the web. They go from link to link and bring data about those webpages back to Google’s servers.
The main aim of Googlebot and its crawlers is to not degrade the user experience while visiting any site. To not let these bots affect your website speed, there is functionality where the google crawl rate can be monitored and optimized. This can be done using Google Search Console. Visit the crawl stats and analyze how the bots crawl your site. One can manually set the Google crawl rate and limit the speed as per the need. This will help you ease the issue without overwhelming the server bandwidth.
